CEDES Names Smans President of Business Development, IoT and Digital Products

Switzerland-headquartered sensor specialist CEDES AG recently named Daan Smans president of business development, Internet of Things (IoT) and digital products. Smans’ professional experience includes being product director at relayr, where he helped lead development of SKYLER Elevate, an award-winning Industrial IoT and AI-powered predictive-analytics solution for the elevator industry. He previously worked for TK Elevator for more than nine years, progressing from executive assistant to manager of digital field operations. Smans holds a degree in industrial engineering from Avans University of Applied Sciences in Breda, Netherlands.
