Champion Elevator Expands NYC Footprint With Acquisition

Champion Elevator, headquartered in Manhattan, NYC, with locations in Connecticut, New Jersey and Long Island, announced the acquisition of Brooklyn, NYC-based PRO Elevator Services Inc. on April 16. Champion observed the acquisition of the elevator installation, service, repair, modernization and inspection provider marks the “beginning of our continued expansion plans in the Big Apple, cementing our position as the go-to independent alternative to multinational elevator companies.” PRO founders Rick Dorsey and Todd Rowen have joined Champion as equity partners and are helping liaise customer relationships. Champion said further expansion plans are in the works, and that the company is “always on the lookout for like-minded entrepreneurs to join forces with.”
