Chicagoland vertical-transportation provider Colley Elevator Co. has acquired a warehouse facility addition, creating half-again space that allows the Bensenville provider of maintenance, modernization and new installation to expand its footprint in the market, the company announced on March 16. The 7,000-ft2 facility, located at 232 William Street neighboring the main office, enhances the company’s 14,000-ft2 facility by allowing Colley to store larger elevator components as the company seeks to broaden its new-installation and modernization portfolio. With 21,000 ft2 of parts inventory, the company will also have easier access to replacement parts to support the nearly 1,900 elevators it services under maintenance contracts. The company is planning an open house for the new facility at a date to be announced.
