Construction Begins On Tokyo Senior Residence High-Rise

Mitsui Fudosan Residential started construction on May 31 on a high-rise senior residence building on the site of the former Novartis Headquarters in Nishiazabu, Tokyo, Japan Property Central reports. The high-rise will be the largest senior residence in Minato Ward. Park Wellstate Nishiazabu will have 421 rooms, ranging in size from 39 to 142 m2, over 36 floors. The top floor will have a private dining restaurant, operated by the Imperial Hotel, with 6-m-high ceilings. The ninth floor will have a spa and gym. Nurses will be onsite 24 hours a day, and residents will have access to clinic facilities. Completion is expected in mid-2024.
