Sponsored by infrastructure consulting firm AECOM, the 2023 Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) International Student Tall Building Design Competition is accepting proposal submissions through late June. The competition, open to all current university students, seeks to shed light on the meaning and value of tall buildings in modern society. The winner will receive US$21,000 and recognition at the CTBUH 2023 International Conference, taking place October 16-21 in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. The theme of the conference, as well as this year’s competition, is Humanizing High Density — People, Nature and the Urban Realm. Proposals should explore how high-density urbanization can support healthy living, working and civic and social engagement. Participants must register online by June 19; submissions are due by June 26.
