CTBUH Announces Global Walking Tour Locations

The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) has announced the ninth annual CTBUH Global Walking Tour, set to take place the week of October 14. Since 2014, urban enthusiasts from around the world have been taking part in the CTBUH Global Walking Tour in locations around the world, and this year’s theme will be “Height and Heritage.” This year’s event offers hosts in multiple cities spanning different time zones showcasing significant urban sites with local participants. So far, participating cities include Auckland, Cape Town, London, Los Angeles, Manchester, Ottawa, Shanghai, Sydney, Taipei and Toronto. Participants can post on social media using the hashtag #CTBUHwalks, and the events will be available in real time as the tours make their way across the globe. Those interested in registering their city as part of the Global Walking Tour can email events@ctbuh.org.
