Dandekar Recognized for 35 Years With Otis

Abhijit Dandekar, director of Quality, Product Safety and Operational Excellence (OPXL) at Otis Asia Pacific regional headquarters, was recently recognized by Otis India President Sebi Joseph for 35 years with the company. Dandekar said on LinkedIn he was proud to receive the long service award and certificate from Joseph. Dandekar has held his current position for more than five years. Prior to that, he held roles with Otis Asia Pacific that included director of supply chain and quality and general manager of OPXL. For Otis India, Dandekar held varying roles overseeing quality, projects and service operations. In the Western Region, he was senior manager of field operations and field engineering for Otis India. He is a graduate of the Management Development Program at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Walchand Institute of Technology, Solapur, and a master’s in management studies from SVKM Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies.
