DiPaolo Named AEG VP Business Development Mid-Atlantic Region

Amy DiPaolo, whose vertical-transportation (VT) industry career spans more than 30 years, has been named American Elevator Group (AEG) vice president (VP) of Business Development, Mid-Atlantic region, DiPaolo announced on LinkedIn. DiPaolo joins AEG from NYC-based Champion Elevator Corp., where she most recently served as chief sales officer for the NYC metropolitan area. DiPaolo’s VT industry career began in 1989 when she was a teenager and took a job at Dover Elevator in Manhattan. From there, she was hired as an expediter with the NYC Department of Buildings. Prior to joining Champion, DiPaolo served seven years as president and CEO of Independence Elevator Co., a Lebanon, New Jersey, company acquired by Champion in 2021. Additional roles she has held include VP at Hudson Elevator Group of New York and New Jersey and direct sales manager at KONE for the New York/New Jersey region. DiPaolo is also a leader in the National Association of Elevator Contractors’ Women in Motion group.
