EFESME Presents Manifesto for the European Election

The European Federation for Elevator Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EFESME) presented its Manifesto for the European Election ahead of the European Union’s early June elections to “ensure that the voices of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are heard loud and clear.” Representing a majority of the lift sector, SMEs are key to innovation, job creation and economic prosperity, EFESME observed. EFESME’s Manifesto focuses on five key pillars: Economic Empowerment, Access to Finance, Digital Transformation, Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility and Skills Development. “With our manifesto, we want to lay out a vision for a vibrant and prosperous lift sector in Europe, and give our lift SMEs all the tools and opportunities they need to thrive,” EFESME said. “By prioritizing these five pillars, we want to work to create a SME-friendly business environment that can ensure that lift SMEs continue to drive innovation, create jobs and contribute to Europe’s economic growth and social well-being.”
