Elevator Escalator Safety Week on November 11-15

National Elevator Industry, Inc. (NEII) and the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation (EESF) ask vertical-transportation (VT) industry members to remember that Elevator Escalator Safety Week is on November 11-15. Held each year in November, the initiative provides NEII, EESF and others an opportunity to ramp up safety awareness and educational messaging by sharing safety tips and facts about VT safety with the riding public. This year, NEII is shaking up its Elevator and Escalator Safety Challenge by using videos focused on the VT mechanisms that help people avoid situations depicted in TV shows, movies and even song lyrics. “We can’t wait for you to win!” NEII states. “And, as always, there will be prizes!” Follow NEII’s social media channels, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram, to participate. EESF asks anyone who wants to participate with their social media posts to reach out to EESF Executive Director Amber Catlin-Kolodzieg at email
