Elevator Inaugurated as Part of Larger Project in India

Dhubri Deputy Commissioner Dibakar Nath inaugurated the newly installed elevator and conference-cum-community Hall at the Dhubri Kalibari premises in India on October 28, The Sentinel reports. The meeting was organized by the Kalibari Trustee Board. During the meeting, officials recognized the work done by the board, and Board Treasurer Arabinda Paul said that “for quite a long time, the need of an elevator and conference-cum-community hall was felt as the Kalibari premises is a multi-storied building and a lot of religious and social functions are held round the year.” One board member told the source that the board spent nearly Rs. 50 lakhs (US$60,499) to get the hall constructed and the elevator installed.
