Eleven Hajj pilgrims were trapped in an elevator for an hour in a building in Bhopal, India, on June 18, before being rescued safely, according to police officials, The Free Press Journal reports. The pilgrims had taken the lift to go to the third floor when the power went off abruptly. The alarm was raised, and the lift door was broken. It took an hour to release those trapped in the elevator. The pilgrims were comforted, and doctors were called to check on them.
