Façade work is nearing completion at The Foglia Residences at Chicago Lighthouse, a nine-story mixed-use development in the Illinois Medical District, Chicago YIMBY reported in January. A collaboration between Brinshore Development and The Chicago Lighthouse, an organization that provides affordable housing for the visually impaired and veterans, the development will house 76 affordable apartments. Residents will have access to shared laundry rooms, a rooftop deck and on-site assistance. McShane Construction Co. tells ELEVATOR WORLD that KONE is providing the elevator system. Designed by LBBA Architects, The Foglia Residences include features to aid accessibility such as high-contrast wall tiles, built-in voice controls and braille signage. Full completion is expected in July.
