Fatality Registered in India Apartment Building

A 68-year-old man died after he accidentally slipped and fell into an elevator pit in Hyderabad, India, on July 2, The Siasat Daily reports. According to reports, it is suspected that the victim unintentionally opened the door to the lift shaft without realizing that the lift had not arrived, resulting in a fall. Subsequently, the lift descended and landed on him, causing his death. The victim was a resident of Bodupppal and was visiting a relative’s house to attend a memorial service in the apartment complex where the incident occurred. A case was registered, and further investigation is ongoing.
