Fatality Reported in India Elevator Accident

A 15-year-old boy died on February 12 after being trapped in an elevator shaft at a factory in Delhi, India, India Today was among outlets to report. According to reports, the boy was working near the elevator when he accidentally slipped and got trapped in the elevator shaft on the second floor. He got crushed when the elevator, a mechanical lift used to carry heavy goods, came up from the ground floor. The boy was rushed to a hospital but succumbed to the injuries, police said.
