Four Rescued from Hospital Elevator in Michigan
Four people were stuck in the elevator at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Warren, Michigan, in early December and were rescued by the Warren Fire Department, C and G News reports. No one was injured. The elevator was stuck between the third and fourth floors. The power was shut off before the elevator was secured and a ladder was used to access and remove the victims to the third floor. The cause of the elevator stopping is unknown; however, there had been issues with the elevator for more than a week, according to officials.
