Fujitec Canada Acquires Calgary-Based Stampede Elevator

Fujitec Canada Inc. announced it acquired Calgary-headquartered Stampede Elevator Inc. on April 17. Stampede Elevator was founded in 2014 by Ian Murray and Jason Watmore, who each have more than 25 years’ experience in the elevator industry. Their focus was on providing elevator and escalator maintenance, modernization and construction using nonproprietary materials and methods throughout the greater Calgary area and Alberta. Fujitec Canada said the acquisition “allows Fujitec to diversify, strengthen and grow the Calgary market, which aligns with the Fujitec Co. Ltd. Vision 24” mid-term management plan announced in December 2021.
