In recognition of World Blood Donor Day on June 14, Fujitec conducted a blood drive at its Big Wing headquarters in Shiga prefecture, Japan, a tradition it has upheld for the past 15 years. Most of the blood is donated to the Shiga Prefecture Red Cross Blood Center for patients in chronic need of blood. During two campaigns held in 2023, approximately 90 employees donated blood. In addition, Fujitec’s R&D center in Big Step, Shiba prefecture, has conducted a blood drive for the past 20 years, with approximately 20 employees donating each year. Blood collected at the R&D center is donated to the Toyooka Local Medical Branch of the Hyogo Prefectural Red Cross Blood Center. Fujitec also conducts blood drives at its subsidiaries in Taiwan, China, Hong Kong special administrative region and India.
