Global Tardif Elevator Manufacturing Group (GT) recently announced it has been awarded a contract for 15 panoramic machine-room-less elevators for the Broadway-City Hall Station in Vancouver, Canada. The station is part of a 5.7 km extension of the Millennium Line being undertaken by TransLink and the City of Vancouver. GT is working in collaboration with Fujitec Canada Inc. on the contract, the first phase of which consists of delivering the first five elevators to underground transfer points in the first and second quarters of 2024. The Broadway-City Hall Station will enhance access to Vancouver City Hall, the Cambie Village area and other destinations along the line, including downtown Vancouver and the Vancouver International Airport.
