Silicon Valley, California-based Hyprlift Inc. founder and CEO James Hutchinson and Head of International Business Development Talal Al Alami showcased the company’s next-generation ropeless elevator at GITEX 2024 on October 14-18 at the Dubai World Trade Centre in Dubai, U.A.E. GITEX is one of the largest tech and startup events in the world. Hutchinson presented Hyprlift’s “Go Ropeless” initiative on the event’s Impact Future Planet stage, promoting ropeless elevator technology to building developers and describing advantages the technology has over traditional elevator systems. Unlike traditional roped elevators that face height limitations due to their reliance on hoist ropes, ropeless elevators can travel non-stop to virtually any height, eliminating the need for passengers to stop and transfer from one elevator to another to reach their destination, Hutchinson said.
