Hyundai Elevator Promotes EVP Of Business Chun To CEO

Chun

The new CEO of Hyundai Elevator is Cho Jae Chun, an elevator industry executive with more than 30 years’ experience who most recently served as executive vice president (EVP) of the OEM’s business division, Hyundai Elevator announced on March 3. Chun has worked in elevator sales since graduating from Yonsei University in Seoul, and is described as a “sales expert” who was instrumental to growing Hyundai Elevator into the largest elevator company in South Korea. Prior to EVP of business, Chun worked his way up from head of domestic elevator sales to head of the overall elevator division in 2019. His position as CEO will become effective on March 29 during a shareholders meeting. “[Chun] was selected to be CEO as it was confirmed that he is the most fitting to face challenges in the domestic and overseas markets,” Hyundai Elevator said.
