Hyundai to Use AI And Voice Recognition In Elevators

Hyundai Elevator Co. and KT Corp. signed a memorandum of understanding and announced that they will integrate elevators with AI, voice and face recognition and self-driving robots, The Korea Bizwire reports. Hyundai will develop an elevator open application program interface that will then be grafted with various application programs by September. To promote the digital transformation of elevators, Hyundai will utilize KT’s voice recognition and robot technology. Hyundai also plans to develop a customized personal elevator that includes face recognition, lighting adjustment, personalized music and additional content based on user preference.
