AFAG Messen und Austellungen GmbH, organizer of interlift 2023 on October 17-20 in Augsburg, Germany, said on July 4 that this year’s event is already 47% ahead of the previous one in terms of occupied floor space. “It will definitely grow even further based on current talks with interested lift companies,” AFAG stated, observing it is in the final phases of discussion with joint participants from China, Italy and India. At the start of the fair, AFAG expects more than 500 exhibitors to completely fill the halls. interlift team presentations to Italian associations ANICA and ANICAM in May and June resulted in “a whole series of component manufacturers deciding to exhibit.” More than 80 Italian exhibitors — including six new ones — plan to participate. Making up 27%, Italy will have the strongest contingent of exhibitors from 31 countries, followed by Türkiye (23%), Spain (12%), Greece (4%) and Switzerland and Austria (3% each). Nine percent of exhibitors are participating in interlift for the first time. VFA-Interlift e.V. is the professional sponsor, and the VFA Forum will include more than 40 specialist lectures from Germany and elsewhere.
