Italy’s Sicor to Extend Warranty, Roll out New Packaging

Sicor Srl, the Rovereto, Italy-based elevator machine manufacturer, recently announced it is extending the warranty on its entire product range — geared and gearless — to five years, effective September 1. At the same time, the company is introducing new packaging to help preserve and ensure the integrity of its machines “until the moment of installation.” Customers can check the validity of their warranties by scanning the QR code on the machine’s nameplate or on the outside of the packaging. Further important information, as well as manuals and certificates, may also be accessed through the QR codes. “The main reason behind this decision was to support our customers, whose needs are paramount,” Sicor Commercial Manager Enrico Giroldini said. “The new packaging will ensure the integrity of our machines and helped make the warranty extension possible.”
