Kapok 88 Donates Covers to Ronald McDonald Houses

(l-r) Richard Francis, house manager of Evelina House, accepts a COP cover from Richard B. Annable, managing director, Kapok 88

Kapok 88, a supplier of protective drapes and COP covers for elevators, is providing anti-viral coverings for elevators at six Ronald McDonald houses in Europe, the company recently announced. With the beginning of the first lockdown, Kapok 88 developed a range of covers that sit over the top of the control panels in lifts. Control buttons can be one of the areas in an elevator with the most germs. When the Kapok 88 hygiene covers is installed neatly over the top, it provides an easy-to-clean surface and an immediate solution for good hygiene control. To help restrict the spread of COVID-19, the company is providing free covers to charities, nonprofits and care homes. After being contacted by Ronald McDonald Charities, Kapok 88 supplied covers for lifts in two of the houses and, after receiving positive feedback, provided hygiene covers for a further four houses.
