Kings III Emergency Communications, headquartered in Coppell, Texas, recently launched a new online series called “Real Emergency Calls” to raise awareness of the importance of proper emergency response in critical situations. The series describes actual situations involving elevator and pool emergency phones. In one instance, the Kings III emergency dispatch center received an emergency phone activation from an elevator in Lauderhill, Florida. The caller told the dispatcher he had been shot and needed police and emergency medical personnel, and the dispatcher “immediately. . .passed on his location information to emergency responders.”
