KONE announced it has strengthened its partnership with Hilti by being the first player in Italy to choose the Nuron cordless platform for safer, more efficient, productive and technologically advanced construction sites. The platform is an ecosystem that combines approximately 70 22V cordless tools, four batteries, two battery chargers, a new interface and internet of things (IoT) services designed to respond to the daily challenges of the construction world: among these, better time management, worker well-being and the use of a single power source. Nuron battery-powered solutions guarantee performance equal to that of cable or gas and improve the quality and speed of work. Safety is also enhanced, on the one hand, by the elimination of cables and, on the other, by the numerous systems designed to protect personnel, reduce vibrations, remove dust or limit the risk of kickbacks. In addition to the new products in the Nuron range, KONE is also implementing the Hilti ON!Track and Fleet Management services. ON!Track is a digital solution that allows the company to collect strategic data from the construction site via cloud connection to optimize the tool fleet, reduce downtime and thus promote team productivity. Furthermore, the efficient management of the tools is ensured by the traceability system, which makes it possible to detect the last charging station used for each connected device on the construction site. Fleet Management is a “tailor-made” service that goes beyond simple rental and allows for periodic renewal of tools, free repairs and preventive maintenance.
