KONE Names VP For South Europe, Mediterranean Region

KONE has appointed Karla Lindahl as executive vice president for the South Europe and Mediterranean region and a member of the Executive Board. Lindahl officially engage the new position on April, 1, 2022. In this position, she will report directly to Henrik Ehrnrooth, president and CEO of KONE Corp. Lindahl has been with KONE since 2004, most recently holding the role of managing director for Finland and the Baltics. In her 18 years with KONE, Lindahl has held several key leadership positions within the company, including being responsible for KONE’s global strategy development. She has a Master of Laws degree from the University of Helsinki and a Master of Arts (EC Competition Law) degree from King’s College, London. Samer Halabi, currently executive vice president for the Asia-Pacific region excluding China, will also assume responsibility for the Middle East and Africa region.
