KONE Taps Senior VP, Marketing And Communications, Americas

KONE announced Vinay Kapur as senior vice president (VP), Marketing and Communications, Americas, on February 8. In this newly created role, Kapur will lead marketing and communications initiatives across the U.S., Canada and Mexico while based at the KONE Americas regional office in Vancouver, Canada. He will report to Chief Marketing Officer Tricia Weener and Executive VP of KONE Americas Ken Schmid. Prior to assuming his new role, Kapur served for more than five years as district VP of KONE’s Western Canada division. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Delhi College of Engineering in India and an MBA in international business from the University of Queensland in Australia. He also competed Institut Européen d’Administration des Affaires’s Executive General Management program.
