Kuala Lumpur Housing Residents Face Elevator Issues

One of three elevators damaged in an 18-story building in a public housing block in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, was repaired in early January and is back in operation for residents while the other two are still in the process of being repaired, Bernama reports. The lift was repaired by the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL). Residents were facing issues with the elevators throughout the month of December, the New Straits Times reported. The public housing complex has 38 elevator units with 18 in the process of being replaced. Of the remaining 20, only 14 are currently operational, according to the source.
