LEEA Reveals Shortlist of Lifting Excellence Award Nominees

On October 19, U.K.-based Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) revealed the shortlist for the Lifting Excellence Awards. Finalists and winners will be recognized during the fifth annual LEEA Awards at the Rum Warehouse in Liverpool on November 21, the first night of LiftEx 2023. On the shortlist are, for the Craig Morelli-Best Trainer Award, Ishtiaq Hasham Khan of Arbrit Safety and Engineering Solutions, Craig Douglas of JCD Training, Jasen Doyle of Industrial Training International, Howard Hagen of NETA Training Group, Ricci Varley of CERTEX UK, Andy Dowd of Speedy Asset Services and Andrew Hawkins of Rope and Sling Specialist; for the Industry Leader Award, Gary Joyice of Sunbelt Rentals, Phil Cameron of First Integrated Solutions, Ashley Thacker of Ranger-Lifting Rigging Safety, Jody Potter of Orsted, Glenn Ward of IMES International, Ben Behai of Sunbelt Rentals, George Price of Hoist UK and Georgia Stevens of Sunbelt Rentals; for the Safety Award, Paul Deveraux of Speedy Services, RiConnect to Safety, Adjustable Lifting Cage (Select Plant Hire) and Lifting Planning Aid (Sheffield Forgemaster); and for the Sustainable Award, Sustainable Solutions (Stenhouse Lifting), The Aspire Range (CERTEX UK Lifting Solutions Group), RiConnect Equipment Traceability and Powertex Products (CERTEX UK Lifting Solutions Group).
