Liftinstituut Introduces Video Discussions

Liftinstituut, Europe’s leading organization for conducting certification and inspection of elevators and escalators, has recently introduced “Liftinstituut Expert Sessions,” a series of short videos in which experts share their knowledge, experience and views on different vertical-transportation subjects. Viewers involved with elevator and escalator safety, including inspectors, engineers and repair/maintenance technicians, will find discussions of topical interest in each video. Episode 1, “Safety Inspections,” featuring Marco Waagmeester, managing director of Liftinstituut Ltd., is now available at liftinstituut.com/knowledge-center. Liftinstituut will release a new episode every two weeks. Upcoming episodes include: 

  • Episode 2: “Safety of Elevators, Escalators and the Internet of Things”
  • Episode 3: “Integral Safety”
  • Episode 4: “Brexit and the Consequences It Has for the Vertical-Transportation Industry”
