Loss, Pandemic Shift Dates Of Elevcon To June 2023

In light of the recent loss of two men who were instrumental to The International Association of Elevator Engineers (IAEE) and Elevcon, Ami Lustig and Joseph Stier, as well as ongoing pandemic concerns, organizers have rescheduled the event. Elevcon 2023: The 23rd International Congress on Vertical Transportation Technologies, is planned on June 20-22, 2023, at the Grandior Hotel in Prague. The move, said IAEE and Elevcon Secretariat Karen Krull, will “allow sufficient time to get over the pandemic barriers and the loss of two key committee members.” She said organizers look forward to seeing everyone face-to-face at next year’s Congress.
