Marine Innovations’ Magana Receives Elevator Master Constructor License

Marine Innovations, the Frazee, Minnesota-based manufacturer of trams and inclined elevators for North America, Central America and the Caribbean, announced on June 7 its elevator inspector Omar Magana has been awarded a Minnesota Master Elevator Constructor License. With 37 years of vertical-transportation industry experience, Magana began his career as an elevator mechanic in his home state of California, going on to hold roles including foreman, project manager and construction supervisor for companies including Otis, Coast Elevator and Schindler. Prior to joining Marine Innovations, he was lead elevator inspector for the City of Minneapolis. As a master elevator constructor, Magana will be involved throughout the installation process for inclined elevators across Minnesota. He will also oversee systems maintenance and assist the company in permitting, code compliance and inspection.
