A 46-year-old worker was found dead on June 25 in the duct of a lift in a building in the Tulshibaug area near Mandai in India, The Times of India reports. Officials believe the worker accidentally fell into the lift duct and sustained serious head injuries. The man worked in the building, which is under construction, and the developer had not yet installed an “elevator bucket” so the duct was open, the official said. The man was taken to the hospital and declared dead upon arrival. Vishrambaug police have registered an accidental death case in regard to the event.
