Mark Your Calendars for CECA CR Meetings and More

The Canadian Elevator Contractors Association (CECA) asks interested parties to mark their calendars for upcoming Central Region (CR) meetings and a CECA/Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) Townhall meeting. Planned at the Sandman Signature Mississauga Hotel this year are a CECA CR meeting at 4 p.m. on September 12 in the Legacy B room and a CECA/TSSA Townhall meeting at 12:30 p.m. in Legacy A and B rooms with special guest TSSA Regional Supervisor Dean McLellan. The townhall will be followed by a CR meeting that will likely start at approximately 3 or 4 p.m. In 2025, CECA CR meetings are set for February 6 at Durham College and April 3 at Mohawk College. Both of these meetings will include campus tours and a chance to meet with Elevating Devices students. CECA also reminds all who plan to attend to register for the United Convention in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and attend CECA’s Annual General Meeting there on September 24. Closer on the horizon is the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation Canada’s evening of horse racing and casino fun on August 22. Contact EESFC for more information.
