MassPort Accepting Bids for VT Maintenance Contract

The Massachusetts Port Authority (MassPort) is accepting bids electronically through August 21 for a three-year vertical-transportation (VT) maintenance contract that includes elevator, escalator and moving walk maintenance at all MassPort properties. These include Logan International Airport in East Boston and facilities in Boston, South Boston, Bedford, Worcester and Framingham. Work will consist of providing labor, tools, equipment, records, services and materials to inspect, test, maintain and perform routine and emergency repairs to equipment. A pre-bid conference is planned for August 7 in the Capital Programs Department bid conference room, 1 Harborside Drive, East Boston, and electronic bids will be opened immediately after the 11 a.m. (local time) deadline on August 21.
