Tokyo-headquartered Mitsubishi Elevator Building Solutions Corp. (MEBS) has announced the availability of NEXIEZ-Fit, a low-rise residential elevator that combines strong cost performance with carefully selected specifications, for Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries, the Middle East region, and beyond, starting May 23. Population growth and urbanization are driving demand for housing worldwide, and MEBS utilized the NEXIEZ-MRL Ver.2 platform — its core elevator model designed for premium sectors such as luxury hotels and office buildings — to develop NEXIEZ-Fit. MEBS reviewed shipping patterns to improve installation efficiency and reduce the amount of welding work while maintaining safety and reliability. With a maintenance contract, safety, security and convenience can be further enhanced by connecting NEXIEZ-Fit to M’s BridgeTM a global remote-maintenance service that continuously monitors and analyzes elevator data. NEXIEZ-Fit has a capacity of 450-630-kg (6-8 persons) and speed of 1.0 m/s.
