Mongolia School To Get Elevator Thanks to Grant

A secondary school in the Bayanzurkh district of Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, will get an elevator under the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects of the Government of Japan, the Mongolian National News Agency reports. Governor of Bayanzurkh District Jargalsaikhan Ganbaatar and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Mongolia Igawahara Masaru signed a Project Agreement to install an elevator at Secondary School No. 55 for students who require assistance moving between floors. The Government of Japan has been implementing Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects in Mongolia since 1990. This project is the 609th grant project implemented in Mongolia and the 24th project implemented in Bayanzurkh District.
