Motion Industries Honors Gates as Supplier of the Year

Motion Industries, Inc., a distributor of maintenance, repair and operation replacement parts headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, honored Denver, Colorado-headquartered Gates Industrial Corp. plc as its 2021 Supplier of the Year, Motion announced on May 5. The award recognizes companies that have “shown excellent commitment to Motion through quality products and services, as well as earning the highest score in the multifaceted Supplier Stratification rating system,” Motion stated. An awards ceremony with Motion and Gates executives took place at Motion headquarters on May 3. Among Gates’ solutions are flat-belt transmission systems for applications ranging from automotives to elevators.
