Multiple Towers Planned on Chicago’s Goose Island

Developer Onni Group plans Halsted Point, a proposed project at 901 North Halsted Street on Chicago’s Goose Island, Chicago YIMBY reported on April 19. Designed by Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture, the project will be split into four phases, producing up to 2,650 residential units, office space, retail space and a hotel. Construction on Phase 1 is set to launch in the first quarter of 2022 and will take up to 30 months to complete. Phase 2 will include a pair of mixed-use towers encompassing 1,035 dwellings, plus commercial space including a daycare and retail. Phase 3 will bring residential and retail space, and Phase 4 will have a 247-key hotel. Construction timelines on Phases 2-4 have yet to be announced.
