Niculae Joins Element Elevators as Director of Special Projects

Following his father, Dan Niculae, joining Richmond Hill, Canada-based Element Elevators as vice president of engineering, Andrei Niculae now joins the company as director of special projects. In this new role, Niculae will be handling engineering, new installation and modernization projects and business process development. Niculae comes to Element from Schindler, where he worked for more than six years in roles including modernization coordinator, modernization account manager and national sales engineering associate. Niculae was involved in major Schindler Toronto modernization projects including 480 University Avenue, 18 King Street East, 80 Bloor Street and Scotia Plaza. As a sales engineering associate, he created modernization solutions for major projects such as Edmonton City Centre, Ryerson University and Brookfield Place. Element said Niculae’s “understanding of non-proprietary and OEM offerings within the modernization market will create a competitive edge” for the company. He holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering from Ontario Tech University in Oshawa, Canada.
