NY/NJ Elevator Names Frangias CEO

NY/NJ Elevator Co., a woman-owned, International Union of Elevator Contractors Local 1 company, has announced Michael Frangias as CEO. With locations in NYC and Parlin, New Jersey, NY/NJ Elevator has handled projects including a modernization at Hyatt Place Hotel in Secaucus, New Jersey, and holds numerous service contracts in New York and New Jersey. It is launching a Miami branch, and Frangias is leading that effort. Frangias has more than 25 years’ industry experience, most recently serving as president at Brooklyn, NYC-based Dunwell Elevator, an American Elevator Group company. Companies he founded and owned — 360 Elevator and Statewide Elevator — were previously acquired by Boston-based Eagle Elevator, for which Frangias was New York/New Jersey division director.
