NYC Elevator Veteran Launches Ascend Consulting Group

Kenneth Seiferth III, a third-generation elevator man based in NYC, has announced the launch of Ascend Consulting Group (ACG). With clients including property developers, owners and managers; real estate investment trusts; co-op/condominium boards; and engineers and architects, ACG consults on all aspects of elevator optimization and investment, including modernization, evaluation, code compliance, witnessing, maintenance audits, new installation, planning, design/build and expediting services. Seiferth brings more than 25 years’ experience to ACG, having worked in elevator consulting, service manufacturing and management. Prior to founding ACG, Seiferth spent 10 years as a senior consultant at a NYC-based consulting firm, growing and managing a broad portfolio. Earlier in his career, he spent 15 years in management, operations and service at leading NYC-based elevator service and manufacturing companies, responsible for project scoping and oversight, field team management and service. He holds a BS in business administration from Marist College and is credentialed by the NYC Department of Buildings as an Elevator Agency director. He is certified as a NAESA International and QEI elevator safety inspector.
