The Muskingum County courthouse in Zanesville, Ohio, will be getting a new elevator with the current one being replaced by the Otis Elevator Co., the Zanesville Times Recorder reports. The project is estimated to take between eight and 12 weeks and cost approximately US$260,000. Temporary arrangements, including making a room available on the first floor or holding business via a Zoom meeting, have been made if the stairs are not an option for a courthouse visitor.
