Otis Again Among “Best Places To Work For LGBTQ Equality”

For the second straight year, Otis has received a 100% score on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index Survey to determine the best places to work for LGBTQ Equality, the OEM has announced. Otis has received the designation since becoming an independent company, and it states the OEM’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. According to the Human Rights Campaign, the designation is given to companies that achieve the highest score on the committee’s survey, which assesses companies on their policies and practices related to LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer) equality. Jim Cramer, president of Otis Americas, said the score “allows us to evaluate how our policies and practices impact LGBTQ equality using a transparent, thorough and measurable process.” The Human Rights Campaign is a leading U.S.-based organization for promoting LGBTQ rights.
