Otis and Mitsubishi Electric Recognized as Innovators

Otis has been recognized by Clarivate, a leading global provider of transformative intelligence, as one of the Top 100 Global Innovators for 2025. The list consults global patent data to measure the influence, success and rarity of ideas of each company. This marks three consecutive years that Otis has made the list. Mitsubishi Electric also made the 2025 list for its 13th win. Haran Vela, Otis executive vice president of Engineering, said, “It is an honor to be recognized by Clarivate as one of the Top 100 Innovators for 2025. This accolade is a testament to the dedication and ingenuity of our engineering team, who continuously strive to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of vertical transportation.”
