Otis reported on August 3 it has been commended for successfully maintaining the 26 high-speed Elevonic® elevators serving the Bahrain World Trade Center (WTC) for the past 15 years. With its pair of graceful, sail-shaped towers, Bahrain WTC is the country’s first “intelligent building.” Otis technicians perform routine maintenance, repairs and replacements after business hours and on weekends to avoid disrupting workers and visitors at the busy hub. “We are proud to serve Bahrain’s first ‘intelligent building’ with our world-class products and services since 2009,” with a commitment to keep elevators running around the clock, Otis Middle East, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Commonwealth of Independent States Market Group Leader Ozgur Aren said.
