Otis Selected to Deliver Elevators for Tokyo Project

Nippon Otis Elevator Co., a Japanese subsidiary of Otis Elevator Co., has been selected to install 15 elevators for the Toranomon-Azabudai Project, a redevelopment project in Tokyo, the company reported in June. Of the 15 elevators, four will be Otis’ Gen2® Premiere lifts, a model which has lower overall energy consumption and is the company’s bestselling elevator. The elevators will be used in a low-rise, mixed-use building. The Toranomon-Azabudai Project is the largest redevelopment project in Japan, with a total ground area of 63,900 m2. Construction began in August 2019, and completion is scheduled for March 2023.
