Otis’ distributor for Uzbekistan, Expert Elevator System, has secured a contract to supply and install 29 Gen2® elevators and six Link escalators for the mixed-use Centris Towers in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Otis announced on October 20. The elevators will be equipped with Otis’ advanced destination-management system, Compass 360®. A specific height is not available, but renderings show three towers of up to approximately 15 stories atop a multistory podium. Developed by Koç Construction A.Ş. in collaboration with Studio Vertebra Architects, Centris Towers “is not just a building; it’s a beacon of modernity, innovation and ambition,” Otis stated. Otis said the contract “not only highlights the strength of our offerings but also opens the door to a long-term collaboration with Centris Development as we continue to shape the future of urban mobility in Central Asia.”
